ANNE GIRVIN, OWNER & CHIEF STRATEGIST
Anne Girvin has been working with food, wine, hospitality, wellness, and nonprofit organizations for more than 15 years.
As the former head of consumer marketing for The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Napa, Anne developed the strategic marketing vision and contributed to the overall programming for The CIA at Copia – the CIA’s first consumer-facing, brick-and-mortar facility dedicated to providing fun, entertaining, and educational food and wine experiences to the public. In 2016, Anne was recognized for her work by being awarded Staff Member of the Year and receiving a Gold Award for Individual Excellence.
Previous to the CIA, Anne developed marketing and promotional activation plans for hospitality organizations throughout Napa Valley. As the former head of prospect research for the University of Cambridge’s US-based development office, Anne has a deep understanding of how research and analysis can shape business and growth plans.
Anne has a bachelor’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from American University, and takes pride in advocating for and uplifting women and female entrepreneurs. She is also a registered yoga instructor passionate about providing space that empowers people to seek their paths on and off the mat.
Anne is from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and has lived and worked in Napa Valley, Brooklyn, Amsterdam, London, and Washington, DC. She brings a positive outlook and global perspective to her endeavors – in business and daily life.
